Advanced Troubleshooting and Board-Level Diagnostics

Building upon foundational knowledge, this advanced course delves into systematic approaches for diagnosing complex malfunctions in steam sterilization equipment. Students will gain proficiency in reading electrical schematics, performing signal tracing, and testing critical components such as power supplies, control boards, and various sensors. Emphasis is placed on practical fault isolation strategies, understanding the intricate interplay between system components, and making informed repair-versus-replacement decisions. The curriculum also covers effective utilization of manufacturer service documentation and best practices for safe, efficient, and compliant service. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and extensive hands-on laboratory exercises, technicians will develop the expertise required to tackle challenging service calls.
